Good Grief: A Bit of Fun with a Big Mission

A group of us, photo and video pros on the Isle of Wight decided to do something about the drastic decline in tourism over the past year. So, we created Good Grief, a media outlet dedicated to championing the island’s incredible food and drink scene.

We shout about local businesses, showcase their stories, and help them get the attention they deserve, all for free. That’s right. Every video we create is given to these small businesses at no cost all we ask is to try their menu. Instead of charging them, we’re building an audience and monetising through sponsorships.

So, just by watching our content, you’re directly supporting small businesses on the Isle of Wight.

But we don’t stop there.

We want the Island to go VIRAL. We want locals to realise how good we’ve got it. That’s why we also run a monthly newsletter, packed with food news, insider recommendations, and amazing giveaways—all for free.
