Isle of Wight Stock
A library of more than 6,000 photos and video clips of the Isle of Wight, nearly all of them shot by me, and licensed for commercial use. It’s also a big part of how I work with clients.
- Chalk stacks from above, Freshwater
- Freshwater Bay and the downs
- A pier from straight above
- Sunset over the marshes
What it is
Beaches, cliffs, villages, harbours, food and the people who live here, filmed and photographed all over the island. Right now that’s 2,740 photos and 3,507 video clips, from wide drone shots of the Needles to close-ups on a plate.
Everything is licensed for commercial use, so businesses, agencies and tourism teams can put it on websites, in adverts and on social. Members can also connect the library to ChatGPT or Claude and ask for a shot by describing it.
Why I made it
I film the island between client jobs, and businesses kept asking me for island shots they could use straight away. Isle of Wight Stock puts all of that footage in one place, properly licensed, so nobody has to settle for generic seaside stock that could be anywhere.
How it fits into your project
The shots we couldn’t get on the day
If the weather turns, or your summer campaign is filmed in November, I can cut the right drone or seasonal shots from the library into your edit.
Your footage, your call
Shots from your shoot can stay yours. Some clients keep their footage exclusive for a year before anyone else can license it, and some are happy for the extras to join the library straight away.
Better rates on a retainer
Retainer clients get the whole library at an exclusive rate, so every edit can lean on it.
Let’s make something worth watching.
Tell me about the place, the food or the people. I’ll come back with a plan for the film.
